Another commission drawn by  Gandere We have all probably grown up with Charlotte's Web, and we know of Templeton's famous scene where he pigs out on Fair food and ending up stuffed to the gills. Now in the original book and the 2006 film, Templeton winds up even fatter after getting first dibs on Wilbur's food. However, in the 1973 animated film, he receives a different fate. Apparently after the Fair, Templeton met a female rat and by next spring has become a father. My circle of friends and I have dubbed this doe rat "Charlene" and we headcanon she is a glutton like her husband. Well rather she becomes a glutton after Templeton takes her to the Fair. She discovers a joy for overeating and as you can see she loves nothing more than stuffing her face with her loving mate by her side.
