Still in a vintage-y mood, but wanted to try and see if I could mimic it traditionally instead. I've really wanted to draw more Maxwell and Charlie art for a bit, especially some "MaxWolf" and "CharKitty" art, so keeping with the Care Bear Cousins crossover theme, I decided to draw them in their animal forms in said style. I also just wanted to make something very shmoopy and lovey with them, so I decided to make them smooch and hold paws. I imagine this is either a pre or post-show kiss, either to calm one or both of their nerves, or as a congratulatory thing for it going so well. I'm really thrilled with the result of this, especially since this was my first time using colored pencils to shade on top of copics, and the lighting of the image turning the paper a more creamy color, which makes this piece even warmer and overall compliments the aesthetic.
