* Production - One of the easier images in this series to do, the background layer was drawn and colored first using screen grabs from the Rabbits Kin cartoon as references. Once the background had been completed the coloring of Pete was done using the sampler tool and painting over the background layer with another on top of it. Once the coloring and finishing work was finished then the image was saved and an internet version was saved for posting online.
* Story - Simple maw shot showing a more detailed version of Pete's mouth, Shorty the rabbit almost ended up in there but Bugs Bunny foiled Pete's attempt to eat them. Pete Puma is a Looney Tunes, Merry Melodies creation and was voiced by Stan Freberg in the original Rabbit's Kin cartoon.

Respawning? Like in videogames?
Reformation?
I knew you (or rather Calamity) do/does this, but I myself still haven't settled on how I would I be represented in these worlds, let alone what means of avoiding/surviving digestion, so yeah, playing around with what I got is… all I got … it's 4 in the morning where I am.

The story behind Calamity's ability to come back is that it isn't known how it happens, all he knows is that two things usually happen in this order. He spontaneously shrinks when in his mind and the predator's mind both think about getting eaten and eating him. In that reduced size he can somehow withstand punishing crush play that would normally get him squashed. When he gets eaten and he's inside the predator he falls asleep after a few minutes and then awakens outside and normal sized as if none of it happened. He remembers it happening in detail but he doesn't know how it happened, he knows he can do it, has tried to find out why it happens to no avail so he just considers it a gift and is frequently willing prey.
I believe Salty_Tart has a comment in one of his comics that fit humorously here, but I don't wanna post it here in the comments to give the wrong idea.
I would like my explanation to be something familiar and easy to pick up for anyone in the fandom.
Usually I think reformation, in the "pop" back / videogame respawn way, or that the preds I play either have a predscape or study the natural arts (still feels weird that it's called something so simple).
Though I have considered the whole reformation station idea, and the reformation magic idea.
