Artificially created in a laboratory as part of a large scale experiment to create a nine tailed nekomata. #45 was considered a complete failure and sold into slavery with the rest of the total failures to recoup some of the cost of creating them. After spending years being sold and traded to new masters he was eventually sold to a mercenary unit and used as part of a slave army. #45 was one of the few survivors of this army and was rewarded by being set free. Now he blindly stumbles around searching for his place in the world. His lack of education and social skills are counterbalanced by his seemingly endless determination and curiosity.
