I am unfamiliar with Lorenzo de Medici, but I want to read about him after meeting this large statue during IndyFurcon. He sits in the front to welcome guests, with the lounge & bar behind him.
The Delta Hotels Indianapolis East retained it traditional Italian theme after the current owners bought it from an Italian family. The night hostess & bartender told me they decided on this because it would be a lot of trouble to remove the elegant water fountain with statues they're known for.
