Their purpose and jobs with 3 particular words (and what those in kanji means): SECURE(bottom left), CONTAIN(middle top), and PROTECT(bottom right). (Yep, those 3 words if you get what I mean 😉)

However the only major difference, unlike that original counterpart, they also capture ordinary ghosts nor spiritual entities in an scrolls via fuinjutsu, and then giving it to the ghost soldiers from the pureland, which is the afterlife. (No need to worry if there is no room)
