He had heard of Tailfeed Carnival before, but he never expected to be one of the new arrivals to the circus!
This piece was inspired by an artist challenge that I took part in
thatshapeshifthero's discord server! Inspired by
Clancy_boyo's Tailfeed Circus idea! I haven't drawn anything super detailed since I last posted in here. (Summer has been super busy with me .w.) And drawing this was nice change of pace! Besides, more lions is always good~
More Tailfeed Carnival attractions here!

More lions is *always* good, hehe~
The only thing I’d really critique is the placement of the head relative to the body. I’m having a hard time picturing where his neck would be/how it connects to his body. That, and I can’t tell what’s going on with the bottom of his left foot, but I think that second detail would be clearer in color.
Overall, you did a complicated pose well. Good work.

Never enough lions~
And thank you for spending time to write this! I appreciate it~
I do agree that the neck is a bit hard to picture with all the floof around, but it is supposedly still mostly human neck, so it's shorter and straighter. I did notice only after I had drawn the lines proper that the floof is very odd and kinda misleading. ^^;;
And when it comes to the foot, I tried to have the character push their left leg as far as possible, almost forcing them to stand on their toes rather than the ball of the foot. First time I tried to do that, and looking back I can clearly say I need more practise. >w>
Thank you kindly for the critique~
