(if the vids not working gimme a sec and ill fix, never done this before)
racush was awesome and created a turntable Gif of my alien for me! Everyone loves a turntable ;D
Rigged 1800 low poly game character, with spec and normal maps! I built her in Maya, using blender for some (not all :<) of the things Maya sucks at 8D
My first full organic mesh! Woo!

allright, unity3D is starting to get more popular because of his hight multiplatform in other word : you can play the game on any browser as well for mobile, windows, mac, iphone android, and console system like wii, xbox360 and ps3. go there if you're interested to know more about unity3D : https://www.unity3d.com/unity :)
Unity is a very awesome engine if you want to run 3D games quickly in browser. Pretty lightweight program before the plug-ins and waaay quicker than Unreal for certain things like importing assets, animations and alot of the navigational keys are similar to Maya's UI layout. Though, because it's open source you can do a lot but requires a pretty good grasp on programming to do heavier stuff. Their website's got a good grip of videos for tutorials on basics. As an artist I use it more to import assets, set up levels and create particles materials but at least have a programmer who can get a working build of the game. Essentially, it's great if you can program otherwise find someone who can.
Oh, it will be for offer on SL :) Once mesh is released it will be an avatar available for purchase. SL snapshots of it can be seen here - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4868641/
Really nice work! It's nice to see your painted style applied to a 3D model. Your painted textures are lovely. I like how your kept the specular mainly on the plating/lighter skin part. Maya's really nice for organic models, the musculature came out nicely. What did you create normal map from zbrush, xnormal or PS? Will you be posting a wireframe or the diffuse, normal or spec sheets?.
Thank you :) The normals were created with Xnormal, I want to eventually learn Zbrush so I can detail my own normal layout but for now my textures seem to work well to create a quick pass with a few tweaks here and there. I will eventually be working on getting my show real started (this is pretty much my first full 3D project so its only the first XD) And that will show everything. I may just wait till I have at least one more project to show first.
