The scene is from my ongoing story series Fates of the Unicorns. It takes place in a flashback, where Tamira recalls her encounter with a dragon raiding party that were far too careless with the dangerous warrior unicon. She had just killed one, and a second tried to take off her head with an axe as she charged him. She caught the axe with the tip of her horn, shattering it and then ran through the surprised dragon. Unicorn horns are magically nearly unbreakable.

I am impressed by how fast you colored this. And you actually shaded it too. This is going to sound a little odd, but would you be okay with me posting the colored versions of these to my primary website? They'd be placed in a Fan Art section, giving you credit for your skills, of course, and linking back to you.
Sure! I don't mind at all.
As for the speed... I'm very good with computers and the technical side of drawing. Layers and masking and composing methods and stuff are things I've worked with and understood well for a long time. This one took me about an hour.
I just can't DRAW. Which frustrates me to no end.

In my universe there isn't anything that can cut through it. In technical terms, it's hardness is higher than any other material, even diamond so nothing can scratch or abrade it. It's tensile strength is extremely high as well, but not infinite which means it can be broken but requires an excessive amount of force to do so and in normal situations, never happens. Dragons of course, managed it but it took a hell of a lot of work to rig up something that could take the tip off.
As the unicorns found out, there IS something that can cut through or grind away at a unicorns horn... another unicorn's horn.
