By the way, this reminds me!
Some years back, when I was huge into Elite Dangerous, I wanted to design a pilot-seat for ferals! Some kind of seating that would allow a feral character to also pilot a complex machine such as a spaceship.
I figured the best way to go about it would be to have them lay, slightly sloped upright, on their belly. And I wanted even to go as far as trying to have flight control sticks fit for feral paws. I had a design in my head that they would wear a kind of "glove" with a mechanical socket on it, that could clamp onto a specialised control stick. Hindpaws could be resting on throttles.
All of this was just very early design and I left it sitting all those years. But hell I would love to see if someone could actually design something with those "furgonomics" (feralgonomics?) in mind!

Ohhh, a lot of that mirrors my own thoughts for how such a seat would function. I think my current in-head thoughts were considering using a big thumb-stick like design for a paw to control. Though the glove idea is good too, since it could even respond to gestures.
I guess we'll see if I ever get down to detailing thay cockpit!
