During Scar's reign Cubs couldn't rest or have fun. Scar was watching them more than lionesses with Zira's help. Scar wanted older cubs to be strong guards for him in future so he forced them all to practice hunting and fighting with Zira. but the last days of his kingdom, before Simba came back, he Decided to choose a heir. he chose the best cub and tested him in the elephant graveyard by fighting with his son. the second time that he was disappointed by Nuka was that time. the cub beat Nuka very well no matter how much older Nuka was. so Scar adopted that cub and he became the true heir.

I know I read Vlad Tepes true story so much nowadays so I give Scar some of his personality. However clients can change the story however they want to. :3
