Perry Thatch is a brutal pirate known as "Burntbeard". He was once an officer in the Royal Navy but left after being marooned. After that he became a pirate and eventually found himself on the island where he met Captain Blackbeard. The two formed a partnership, sailing together for many years before Blackbeard's death. Since then Thatch has continued to sail the seas, looting ships and taking their cargo. His ship, the Queen Anne's Wrath, is one of the most feared vessels in the Caribbean. some pirates see him as a more ruthless version of Blackbeard. However, there are those who would rather avoid conflict with him at all cost.
