Of course, this has led to many viewing her as obnoxious and pathetic. But luck will have it, Tabaqui strikes it big. One day while especially hungry, a rich British family find her and takes her to their home thinking she is a stray dog. Seeing her chance, Tabaqui takes advantage of the situation and milks it for all it's worth. For the first time in her life, Tabaqui consistently goes to bed with a full stomach. Three squares a day, luxurious bubble baths, and plenty of tummy rubs from the young children of the family. Over time Tabaqui grows quite fat and lives out the rest of her days in luxury.

Though plenty of the animals of the Jungle view Tabaqui as nothing more than a fat freeloader, Tabaqui doesn't care. She's living the dream.
