As I said before on never grew up seeing or watching any Disney movies or cartoons in my whole life the only TWO that I ever own and saw are in both theaters and own VSH tapes of 1979 The Black Hole and 1982 TRON. Still own these old Clam Shell tapes.
Original price for each of these old VHS tape that first released was high as hell but again it was the 80s
The Black Hole: Released on VHS in 1980 $84.95
Tron: Released on VHS in 1982 $84.95
Both gone down to $39.95 in 1983

Tron is still one of my all time favorite movies. I make sure to watch it at least once every year. While I wouldn't put The Black Hole among my favorite movies, I do really like it, and it has one hell of a theme song.

Nah, it was mostly garbage.
As were the '90s.
And the '70s.
And the '60s.
And the '50s.
And the '40s.
And the '30s.
And the '20s.
The only differences between movies of the '80s and now are that it's the good stuff that people tend to keep watching and there will be stuff you only saw when you were young that you thought was good back then and haven't seen since to discover the suck fairy has visited. Remember, 1982 was also the year that gave the world "Megaforce" and "Trail of the Pink Panther", (which was only saved from being the worst in the franchise by every one since somehow managing to be worse).
