Fun fantasy cat. What inspired this one? Good use of accessories, btw. Simple, but yet not plain at all.

Nothing in particular inspired it, it was just a 2 hour-ish sketch while I was chilling in voice with some peeps!

One bit of advice I'd give is unless that's a papier-mâché top (stiff form) that the wrapping would probably constrict in a much flatter way. I like details of realism like that, so I figure it's worth it to mention. ... Also I just noticed she's missing an arm?!? Huh o.o I wonder how that'd influence her wrapping processes.

Yep, she's indeed missing an arm, i don't quite know why
I rarely ever draw characters more than once, most of them just on the fly too, so this was the first time I drew her, maybe one day Ill draw her again with more accurate wrappings

Yeah, that's kind of how I'd approach characters, too. Merging interesting concepts, thinking about fun elements, but not really attaching myself in a way that yields anything further.

I also like focusing on small differences between similar characters. There can be so much variety with just a single species, but it's rare that artists sit down and explore that in depth. Just think about how drastically different humans are. Or how different dogs are, or butterflies. /ramble
