This piece was a general experimentation piece for me. It was an experiment of learning how my new tablet works, and an experiment drawing wings in a position than traditional open/closed side view.
This was also a school assignment. We had to take human and animal elements and put them together to create a creature. While Maeve is already a character of mine, I don't get many chances to draw her or develop her. This was an excellent opportunity. So it's just going to be the lineart for a while. I'll get around to colouring it once I'm all done with my schoolwork.
And a little tidbit for you: Maeve is a Gaelic name meaning "Intoxicating One." :3
