Meine gefesselten Lieblingfüchse 7: Transfer
To be honest, I am not sure, if this character really was meant to be a fox, but oh well^^
This is Transfer from the 1980 anime "In 80 days arround the world with Willy Fog", anime exclusive villain of the tv show and a master of disguise, who tried to stop Willy Fog over and over again. I loved the sparkle effect on his left eye whenever he felt "villainous".

The sparkle effect? The kind that only appears when the character's eyes become shadowed over but the eyes are represented as sparkle shapes? .v.
I think I know what that is like! It use to be common place, but now its no longer much a thing because anime has been given more budget and also effects that are much more effective in comparison!

'In 80 Days Around The World With Willy Fog' is another series I have fond memories of from childhood and particularly of Transfer, certainly a cunning and vicious villain though certainly an adept master of disguise.
His species is a little ambiguous, fur colouration could mean he's a grey wolf and just a little on the shorter side though equally he could be a fox. In any case with that villainous gleam in his eye he's probably already concocting a scheme to get away and whom knows if he might have one of his masks secreted on his person. I don't think he'll remain a captive for long.

Loved this show back in my childhood days in the 90s, when it was aired in Austria too.
Persuaded me to take an interest in Jules Verne´s novels.
I never knew what species he was exactly, but was allways of the oppinion that he´s a fox for his cunning behaviour.
