I've wanted to try my hand at a digital painting recently, one in particular that wasn't necessarily furry in nature. Coincidentally, I found myself inspired by this gorgeous rendition of a character in Kanye West's recent film, Runaway.
This is a work in progress, but I like it enough to post a preview here. This is my first time doing anything like this! Colouring skin is SO much easier than fur, god damn.

Sorry, I've really procrastinated on commenting on this picture... You have so many amazing and fine details here-- I mean, her big eyelashes, the color change from her eyelids to the rest of her face, her amazing lips, all the feathers and where they join/break away from her body.. And just all the body musculature. Really, really impressive.
