Now I’m referencing Goldfinger, in 1964 James Bond was such a misogynist that it makes for uncomfortable viewing that did not age well at all...

Bond was absolutely like that. He never changed. He was good at the spy stuff, saved the world but was an absolute misogynist, which is why it was overlooked in the earlier days. Now you see the newer Bond having to change his ways in the new world. M doesn't put up with his shit as much. I love Dame Judi Dench.
There was an actual James Bond fursuit skit performed at FC 2007. M_Tigress was Judy Dench, Fox McCloud as Q, Roger Fox as 007, Yippee Coyote as Austin Powers. The villain's henchman was "Paws". I give you Howl Another Day.

He could always find the right vixen. Here, they flee from Dr. Evil's henchman.

'Insert bloke slapping Keen Bond on the bum here'.
Now he'll know how it feels....Kinda...Sort of.....Nah actually here's a better scenario.
'Insert woman punching Keen Bond on the face here'.
Ah and everything was lovely once again. LOL! :D
Though I admit I'm surprised that you chose this over the more obvious one. But then Keen Bond is probably thankful that you didn't draw that.

As others have said, including yourself, there is alway those parts of the past we will find less than comforting.
Bugs Japes the Japs springs to mind, as it always does when I see any member of my step-grandfathers Japanese American family, and some of the symbols in the picture of the old Buddhist temple that hangs in the hall of the new one down to SLC might give some pause for thought.
Speaking of, I seem to have lost my train there.
Eh, I'll just rephrase what has already been said. We accept these things as they are, or not at all.
