Tawny & Goldie - Bunk Mates [May 29th 2022]

Yes, it's another piece featuring Cocoa and Banana, and this time they've finally got proper names! Allow me to re-introduce you to Tawny (bottom) and Goldie (top), those two girls from the Cat Café! This was the piece which forced my hand when it came to properly naming them. I wanted to have those little nametags next to each bunk, identifying their respective positions on the crew of this starship they're supposedly on, but I thought the placeholder names wouldn't really work in this context.

So I did some searching around, and eventually decided on Tawny (from her brown colour) and Goldie (from her yellow colour, obviously). The surnames I just picked because I felt they'd be needed in this context, and I've ditched them since doing this picture (they are of course the surnames of the two guys from 2001: A Space Odyssey). Officially, the girls now have no surnames, and I'll probably just assign them random ones as and when required.

Also, isn't it cute how they have pin-ups of each other in their respective bunks?
