Doggust 2022 - #25, The Artful Dodger
November 18th, 1988. Street dog (and company).
And we're back! Here I go drawing these guys again. It's taken me years to admit Oliver and Company is one of my fav Disney movies, and that's for no other reason then I Am Oblivious To Everything Including My Own Emotions. I feel no shame in loving this film to bits, though. It's everything a dog-obsessed child with fantasies of running away and joining a pack of talking animals could ever want. Now that I'm a dog-obsessed adult, I also see that this film is a strange, edgy product of its time that carries with it both classist implications and scathing critiques of money-hungry ghouls. It's everything I've ever wanted all the time at any point in my life, I think.
Concept art training. AI generated imagery + photobashing + 3D modeling + digital painting. Remember these things, children: perfect isn't easy, dead men do not buy dog food, and why should yOU WORRY WHY SHOULD YOU CARE
