Just a day after the visit to the local water park, there was another highlight in the bearkitty's week. A visit to the big playground in the next city with the family.
A big area in the a park, stuffed full with sandboxes, swings, slides, a wooden fort and, one of Sascha's favorites, a balancing course made from a series of platforms, which got steeper and more complicated over the course.
Of course Sammy was with him, but the long-tailed lynx plushies was still a bit grumpy from yesterday's incident at the water park.
He was dry again, but Sammy really hated getting wet, especially if it was thanks to his little owner's recklessness.
Jumping out of the car when the family arrived, dressed in beige cargo short, a bright orange cool dino shirt and his favorite yellow bandana, he pointed at a certain area.
"I'm going at the balancing course first, Sammy. Do you want to come?"
"Meow"
"Yeah look, I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd get that wet and..."
"Meow!"
"I know, but..."
"Meow!"
"Alright, I promise, no water today!"
Giving his plushie a kiss on the nose, the tucked the still kinda grumpy looking lynx under is arm as Sascha headed off to the attraction.
But instead of taking him with him, he gently placed the plushie lynx into the warm sand under one of the platforms. That way he could still watch of the little bear hybrid, while staying out of harms way himself.
Happily Sascha climbed on the first obstacle, than carefully made his way up, getting cocky enough to do a few of the obstacles very quickly.
Smiling broadly he tackled the next platform, and then the next... where he paused for a moment, arms stretched out wide, balancing on one foot.
