A carrot consomme is possible. It just takes a little extra work to do. No, scratch that...takes less work than a regular consomme. Probably not able to find a recipe for it, since it bridges into molecular gastronomy in order to make. If you want to give it a try, find yourself some agar and add .2% (by weight) to a simple carrot soup.
