Uluru (also known as Ayers Rock), to some its just a big rock in the middle of nowere. But to me it's an inspirational reminder of just how beautiful our earth can be.
Taken durring a highschool trip to Australia. If you've never been there I highly recomend visiting it one day, its an incredable place and the people are the nicest folks you'll ever meet.

I was there last year. I didn't climb it as it's considered disrespectful to the tribal owners, so I did the base walk instead. It's a fantastic natural wonder and the legends surrounding it only help to generate an enormous feeling of mystique. It looks fantastic in sunset, glowing blood red as the rest of the landscape becomes shrouded in darkness. The nearby rock formation of Kata Tjuta is also quite stunning.
