If this Raichu had a name, it completely escapes me, though I don't think she did.
I think I went a tad overboard with the battle damage, though the ones on the eyes and cheek pouches are correct (this poor thing's blind, if I recall).

Actually, she got injured by refusing to listen to her trainer- She attacked a flock of Spearrows, then got savaged by a Fearrow, all while her trainer tried to tell her to stop fighting and come back.
And her trainer never wanted her to fight again, but the crazy-ass Raichu insisted.
Really, really not the trainer's fault.
And, actually, watch the movies and shows- Pokemon are used in a wide variety of utilitarian uses- this is why training and breeding are so heavily supported in their economy- there's a high demand for strong pokemon.

Ah, alright. Didn't know that. ^^;;
I've only seen one of the Pokémon movies, but I followed the tv series for quite a long time and played some of the gba games. To me the point of them seemed to be mainly about fighting. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but I'd like to see (for example) a collectible card game with a different kind of idea. Just to see how it would work, you know. =)

Well, the fighting is, as they say, where the action is. To figure out the rest of the world, you've got to catch the brief glimpses of how the rest of the non-training world lives, and if you do, you'll notice pokemon in almost every industry and business, using their powers not just to fight, but make people's lives better.
Gah.. I always loved Raichu. I thought the main pikachu from the show should have evolved >_>;;
But waah! This one makes me want to snuggle it and give it lots of first aid treatment. Way to pull at my itty bitty heartstrings ;_;
The bite on the tail kinda amuses me though ^o^;
I don't think you really overdid the battledamage.. It makes sense for a thing that fights for a living to be covered in damage =\
