Despite the many centuries since humanity's first efforts into the outer reaches of Earth's atmosphere, casual fashion hasn't really changed that much. Sure there are people who opt for the more 'traditionally' sci-fi esque attire of jumpsuits, but that kind of thing is only really seen on starships, mainly as a carry-over from the days when artificial gravity options were either nothing or literally spinning part of the vessel. Being a sorceress from a place mainly known for its more medieval / renaissance fantasy aesthetic, one might think she'd be wearing at least casual street robes. Absolutely not true.

A leather jacket. A white T-shirt. Tight leather pants. A pair of open-toed leather boots. From afar, Zosma would have passed as a 'Greaser' from the mid-20th century, a style she doesn't see often but has a soft spot for. There's something about it that seems to say 'I'm a tough girl so don't try me'. Is it that leather is a tough material to use in fashion? Is it because it holds her in all the right places and shows off her best curves? It's a mystery. But what isn't a mystery is that it's her go-to outfit whenever she's planetside, or just wants to look nice while at a station.

Ever since I came up with the idea of Zosma many years ago, I always had in mind that she'd regularly wear leather... and damn does she look good in it. Sure she could get away with wearing her sorcerer's 'robes' in public, but it's like being a superheroine 24-7, and one of the last things she wants is for people to constantly harangue her about it.

So I contacted  neifaren and pitched them the idea of Zosma in casual leather. I very much like how this turned out! Originally I pitched her outfit being all black leather, but the browns really help to break things up in my opinion. Expect more Zosma goodness in the coming days! :D
