I figured it was about time I upload these. Reference art for a character I've been playing in our 5E D&D campaign for the last 5 or 6 months.
Easily my favorite character to date and by a huge margin. A naïve and innocent centaur mage-college student from a noble house (Bladesinger Wizard, Lawful Good) who over the course of the adventure so far has been absolutely broken down to rock bottom, but has built herself back up to become the shining hero she dreamed of becoming. There's been so many moments of heartwarming, trauma and just plain awesome.
"Adopted by the wealthy Delacroix family, Seraphine became an inseparable companion to her adoptive sister Esmée. Together they received a polytechnic education so that her sister may one day inherit the family business."
"They won a scholarship at the prestigious Tower of Abjuration in the capital city under Archmage Strastoval where they studied, until the day Esmée was seemingly kidnapped."
"Seraphine secretly went in search of her sister, rather than wait for the city guards to do their work or getting her parents involved, believing her sister to be simply playing truant. During which she encountered several adventurers also looking for lost loved ones."
