Next in our roster of Knights of the Seelie Court is Sir Drost, the foxblood pùca. His reconnaissance was instrumental in turning the tide of battle during the War of Blood and Shadow. He’s a quiet sort, and enjoys a good bit of pipe tobacco.

Drost: I used to find more joy in it. *he finishes the stitch and bites the thread to cut it* But if you spend enough time in the Unseelie lands and see the terrible things they do to humans, you lose your taste for watching the spectacles. I sneak some food and a couple bottles of ale and go home.
Drost: *ears swinging backward* Good. Pray you never do. There are only a handful of Unseelie wretches more deadly.
I believe humans have a tale of a dullahan… Drowsy Hollow, or some such thing? Give the headless horseman a whip made from a human spine, a decaying all-seeing head in place of the pumpkin, and the ability to tear a soul from its body just by speaking its name, and you have a dullahan. The Unseelie territories are rife with them.
