A large Varanid found only on Myalna island. They are semi aquatic and often always found by water like rivers and ocean shores. Since the Wryvirra arrived and colonised the island, most of the goannas in rivers migrated more towards the coasts. They are Piscivorous mostly hunting fish of various sizes and occasionally other sea creatures. They pose little threat to people if you keep your distance. Luckily they give warnings when you’re too close for comfort such as hissing and standing on their hind legs. Though nobody has been injured or killed by them (so far), it’s obvious from their size and appearance that they can easily tear you limb from limb if you ignore their warnings.
