Treasure Ouchies is made of minky and mochi minky. They lay at about 10 inches from the tip of the nose to the back tips of the legs. The face, detailing on the wings and bandages are machine embroidered and appliqued. The hair accessory is not removable.
Easy project! I don’t have many chances to make simple pony plushies much any more, so I happily took on Treasure Ouchies!
this little one was a breeze, I actually started working on them in between breaks on Banjo.
One of the few cool things one this little one is the bandages: they’re floated on the base body. The bandages are made of mochi minky since it felt a little more lighter weight than regular minky AND I think it would have been a nice touch to use a different fabric type to show the bandages a little better. :) Another plus side is that it is a little more lighter weight than minky, even with the embroidery on the legs, there is still a slight beanie-like feel versus on past plushies where the legs feel super stiff and not at all floppy with embroidered detail and layers of minky to account for. x. x
The mane had the usual struggles of 2D references being a little rough to translate into a 3D object, but nothing out of the ordinary. :)
