Only in the serial continuity of games, comics, and TV shows; but in a movie where the continuity is apart from the rest and committed as it happens, it's possible the two hedgehogs can be a more tight couple.

Why do you think the 2nd movie featured a wedding?

well in the second movie was for her Wife's friend wedding...Also... the Father was an agent of G.U.N...soooooo, the wedding wasn't official <_<;
