In the stories Ginelle is hunted by Vix in the beginning in an attempt to make up for a mistake and make herself more untouchable by those that abuse her within her society at the same time by improving her standing with her psychotic, abuse in every way imaginable short of killing her, father.
Reason being. She finds out Ginelle is a member of a family her people thought had all been killed when Ginelle was four. They are decended from elves that stayed behind against the mandate to leave the planet. The stragglers died in the cataclysm the others fled to another world to avoid. They're spawn survived and interbred with what was left of human society and the hidden society of some of thier creations, my first furries. The beginnings of me in furry art before I knew of the fandom. :)
