I'm not sure if this is meant to be an insult... But it kind of came off that way. there is nothing wrong with fan art so long as the art is not traced from another artist or a screen shot.

While I do think that was a very blunt way of the first commenter to put it- I believe they were trying to say that (without assuming or embellishing too much) this idea has been overdone and basically become a beaten horse. Perhaps if you wish to (and this isn't meaning to be as blunt as it sounds) actually make headway or win that contest- try to create something featuring the two that is more original. Though Disney themselves are ripping from Shakespeare like whoa, maybe try playing around with that concept to make something new.

Oh, I didn't take what you said insultingly. You gave me more of a reason as to why it was unoriginal than what the other user said. :)

I'm, honestly, not a huge fan of kiara. But I love Kovu. And I figured the sadness makes sense because, y'know, they are torn by their families, both told different things to what they believe and love. the concept of the movie is quite tragic.
