This ooooooooold... Like high school old. The first incarnation of Talbot, three years before I ever knew what the hell a furry was. This piece made me want to weep with joy at old memories with friends no longer in this life. I was creating a game world using D&D 2nd edition rules and a friend that'd been to tournies in europe while in the army was helping. He had Lou Gehrig's disease. Every time I went home to visit he would be worse. It broke my heart to see someone that did some much for me fading away. He's gone now, but I'll never forget him or how great aperson he was in shaping me into the man I am today. Gods... I fell like crying.

Odd fact, I can't cry. Haven't shed an emotional tear in over 11 years. I get by though with knowing I still feel what should make the tears. ^_^;
