Love this angle, just barely able to see upwards into the maw as the tongue pushes backwards. I can imagine frantically reaching out to grab the ring above, desperate for even the slightest handhold. But even if my hands could reach around it, I’d simply slip loose. If anything, the gleaming little gold ring is just yet another false hope. Just like the glimpse of the mouth above, a little bit of hope to be dashed out by a rumbling “Ulp!”
