Box I made from 1/8th inch aluminum sheet and some pieces of aluminum I got from an electrical box that was tossed out. Those pieces were half inch thick and were forged and then cut with a coping saw to make the legs. Rivets are made from armature wire.
This neat little box is something that was inspired to make after seeing a bunch of aluminum ware from the 1930s on ebay. I've been starting to collect aluminum sheeting for making such things, this little box was fun to make.
