Tail fur practice done
K so, I marked the places I'm needing work on. I also marked a section of the tail where I tried a bit different approach. Can I get some constructive critique and suggestions for that area?
Oh and in case anyone was wondering, I was tryin to go for a feathered fluffy look.

I don't actually right now since this was my first attempt at something like this, but I can direct you to the tutorial I used :)

in your trouble area (although i can't even fathom how you even did this) there is a few pieces of fur that look kind of awkward because their almost perfectly straight and aren't fallowing the rest. Even when a long haired cat tail or any animal tail still somewhat follows its curve. But its awesome looking none the less.
That looks absolutely incredible! I'm very impressed. :D I love how soft and fluffy it looks. The only crit I could even possibly offer is that I think the fur is going the wrong direction, but I may be wrong since I can't tell which way is the start of the tail since it's such a close-up. ^^;
A lot better, actually. :D The clumps should have spread out fur, not fur that goes into a point. While some points of the fur on a body might have this trait, you want the clumps to fan out, much like the fans they use in Chinese culture. Also, stray hair mars makes it look more realistic. :3
