I was just thinking about this show the other day. I have very fond memories of watching it. There were a lot of underrated gems on PBS during the early 2000s.
It's no Spongebob or Powerpuff Girls, but that's why I liked some of these shows. They weren't trying to make you laugh at every second, they were mainly trying to tell you an entertaining story that could have funny moments throughout, like Sagwa trying to escape the city where cats were banned (I vaguely recall that being the plot of an episode).
