So as said in my returning journal, I had no laptop, meaning I couldn't do any digital art... bawwwww.
FORTUNATELY, I had my sketch book. UNfortunately, I'm a bit rusty with traditional art, because of all of the digital arting. But, here's a few sketches I managed to complete between eating and sleeping during my trip!
*From left to right in descending order*
1, 2, 3, 4: Random sketches of Dora. For some odd reason, the image of Dora in my mind is different from the one I put on paper. Even odder, I prefer the version I put on paper. Weird, right?
5/6, 7/8: Dora trying a bit of martial arts on Lt. Fuddles. Apparently he's not in the mood to be messed with.
9: YanMaya from Waves. Her overall design is a little more on-spot and tolerable than it was a few months back.
10 Wurlly from Waves. He originally was named "Whorly" but that could be mispronounced as another word... And his face look a bit too much like Falco, so back to the drawing board... literally. :V
11 Nor and San from Waves. Not much I can say about this one... I just know I gotta practice more character to character interactions.
12, 13, 14 Unnamed Kiwi, Kangaroo mouse, Cheetah. Like most of my ideas, I suddenly wanted to come up with characters for a chase/rivalry cartoon and/or a variety show. Almost to the same accord as Tom and Jerry, Roadrunner, and the rest of those classics. I'm still trying to work out ideas, and rework the designs, but if you have any name suggestions for them, let me know!
...and not a single dang one of them inked or colored. :T Ah well. N'joy!
