my flip flops are hella worn out in case you couldnt tell. that happens to make them incredibly buttery soft though, so when furs go into them, they usually get quite the soft and comfy prison to hang around in. i will admit that most that go in dont come back out though, unless they specifically make me aware of their presence or we set something up before hand. for example, my pet demon here asked me to set him up with a day inside my flop as my insole. so he gets to be comofy, warm, sweaty smelly and dirty and can lick and lap up as much gunk as he wants. now this way, if he does end up getting compacted into another layer of insole, i can always peel him off, or just reform him into a new body. the latter is what ends up happening the most time.
