I recently had the honor to work closely with a local artist in order to prepare art for the Bears San Diego celebration and charity event, BearQuake 2010. This years theme was "Cirque de L'oros", so he prepared art in black and white, and I scanned it and converted it to an Illustrator vector art file. Then, I copied and pasted it in Photoshop in a top layer, and protected it so we could color it on the computer thru the black vector file, so it was like a coloring book except you could color right over the lines without affecting them at all. We still had to stay between the lines on the outer edge, but that was easy. What you see are .png files of what we did. These have been flattened and are all pixels, where as the art sent to be output on a 6 foot by 3 foot banner had both the vector line art on top of the raster color, so it came out sharp and beautiful. Both the artist and I were very pleased with the final results and so were the Bears. I hope all my fellow furs like the end result as well. Bearhugs, CyberBear
