hehehe, he kinda has that look to his face, actually. Like he'd be a stinker to try and get a hold of.
Wow I just looked em up, and it seems, as a species, they are cranky little shits. X3 So your title sounds like a fitting name for the guy hehe. But it's cool that they can color change O.O I didn't know snakes could do that. HA, but I'm sure there are encyclopidias on what I don't know X3

Oh man, these are fantastic!!
Could you give me pointers on how to get my boy to feed? :/ He went off feed for two months, then ate a large fuzzy/weaned mouse, then has been off feed since beginning november.
Isn't loosing much weight, is still alert and active (as active as they can be...) but steadfastly refuses to eat.
Temp/humidity are fine, and nothing changed in his environment that would've caused him to go off feed.
He used to eat like clockwork when I got him, like... every week/week and a half. Then suddenly stopped.
He's making me insane! lol

He looks pretty plump in the photo. He's probably off feed for the winter many species tend to do this once they are sexually mature. As long as he was eating before and nothing has changed and he is not showing any signs of illness, I wouldn't worry. You can either continue to offer food to him regularly, and just give it to something else if it doesn't eat, or skip a week or two between offerings. He might eat here or there but he probably won't go back on feed until closer to spring. You shouldn't have to try anything fancy though. Just whatever he used to eat.
Haha.... you lucked out with your bp then... trust me if you look up info about bp's going off feed, you will find a lot of it! I have quite a few ball pythons and most of them go off feed from time to time, although some of them will eat every time they are offered. I even had one female go off feed for 11 months before she decided to eat again!
It seems like it's not uncommon for many species to do this once they are sexually mature or almost there. I think the more snakes you have, the more you will see it happen. Shouldn't be anything to worry about if you haven't changed the environment and it was eating just fine before. :)
