18-year-old Makoto was born a male and is the only one of Noboru’s children that was born in Japan prior to the Hisakawa family moving to America. Makoto is a male-to-female transgender, but is still in the transitioning stages at the moment. She’s also very good friends with Kiyoko and Momoko, and it was evident when she first met them, she became fast friends with the both of them. Not only that, but Makoto is also a friend of Ginger as well, but it wasn’t until Kiyoko introduced Ginger to Makoto as the tanuki would become a supporter of the gamer mouse. Makoto always looks forward to when Ginger does her gaming streaming, and is sometimes a guest star in her streams.
