Instagram deleted my account with more than 18k followers... 😢

It was an ordinary art gallery with my drawings. On August 13, I posted a new drawing (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48544059/) on my Insta and after about 10 minutes I was blocked for violating the community guidelines. To be honest, I doubt that the reason for the blocking was my drawing, because it's pretty harmless... but the fact that it happened shortly after its publication makes me a little uneasy.

I've read their community guidelines and can say that I did not violate anything... I peacefully published my drawings :(

After being blocked, I was asked to pass a verification to restore my account, and I provided all the necessary information, including a selfie with a unique code. A few minutes later I received a refusal says "we can't help you, because you didn't provide a selfie" and my account was deleted. I don't know what can I say about this... :\

There is a small chance that the security system was triggered by using a proxy / VPN (Insta is blocked in my country and I need to use them to gain access), but I think this reason is too insignificant. Usually if the system sees that the login is carried out from different places, then the user is offered to secure the account, for example change the password or re-confirm the phone number. In extreme cases, you will simply not be allowed into the profile for some time, but shit, they will not delete your account...

In my opinion, this is just some kind of mistake. I filed an appeal, but after reading about my case, I can conclude that there is practically no chance to restore the account. I will continue to send an appeals, but I have little faith in a positive outcome. 😢
