Some nights, Arc would close his eyes imagine what it would be like at the end of his journey. He pictured himself smiling, confident, effortlessly summoning the divine flames of his predecessors to hand. He was Arcanus the Ninth after all, latest in a line of sorcerers going all the way back to the Academy’s great founder. Each one carried the blessing of their patron deity and were thus expected to lead the Greymalkin Academy of Magic someday as its headmaster.
This is where Arcanus… Arc’s resolve would often falter, the weight of nine generation’s worth of expectations now resting on him. Now more than ever, he was keenly aware of the length of the road ahead. This time though, he clenches his fist, and just for a moment a spark springs to life between his fingers. Ready or not, it was time for his journey to begin.
Here we have a different take on my new D&D character: Arc, the Divine Soul Sorcerer. In the previous pic we see Arc starting out on his journey, unsure of himself and his destination. Here we see Arc as he hopes to be someday: a confident and capable archmage. Is this where his journey will take him? I think both he and I are eager to find out! Thanks to
