The Atlantian Guard are heralded as some of the fiercest warriors throughout history, boasting numerous great deeds in the protection of their lands. Time and time again, the Atlantian Guard has repelled invasion, crushed their adversaries, and overcome the ravages of monstrous beasts. Indeed, to stand numbered as one of these great warriors, is to stand a titan - and so, for Sofia to be hailed amongst the best of her warrior kin, she is truly a fighter without equal. However, even Sofia is powerless to stop the threat looming over her people now... the Atlantians are dying.
A predominantly female race living under matriarchal rule, Sofia's people are in danger of facing extinction. Male birth rates have declined drastically over the decades, and as the older generations fade, a dark reality is creeping over the land; breeding aged males are becoming desperately scarce. The critical point has finally been reached. With talks of enforced breeding and the abolishment of marriage, the Atlantians may soon find themselves living in a grim society, sacrificing choice, freedom and love in the single-minded focus of saving the species. Speaking out against such acts, Sofia and other like-minded Atlantians have advocated for allowing males of other species to be accepted amongst them, to open their borders and invite males from all over to become citizens. However, the pure-blooded idealists and tradition-minded leaders in power have shunned the idea, fearing that outside intervention will threaten everything they've built. Sofia fears for the future of her people, but a new hope has arrived. The Battle Beast Tournament.
If it is true that the winner of the tournament could be granted any wish, then perhaps it's not too late! If Sofia wins, she can restore the declining male birth rates, she can grant hope for a future were freedom and love won't need to be sacrificed. Pragmatism be damned, desperation be damned, Sofia will not see her people plunged into a cycle of enforced breedings in the hopes of saving the Atlantians! She just has to win. That's all. If she can just win, there will be hope for the future. And so, with a heavy burden on her back, Sofia sets out for the tournament to save her race.
"I won't ask you to step aside, but you should know: there's too much at stake for me to lose!"
