Cimberly does look rather strong and muscular so I imagine he'd be quite a formidable warrior. If your nervous and easily shocked but you're able to overcome it and carry on, that's also rather badass in itself.
I wonder if he perhaps was surprised to learn it was World Lizard Day, or maybe a mischievous wizard knowing Cimberly was easily startled and currently shirtless decided to have some fun with an invisibility spell and a surprise tickle attack to the sides.
