Getting near the end of the commissions from
Canfurence this year, this one is from KariPup, a.k.a.
KariPup, who was really interested in the dancing book when I mentioned it, but who had to wait a few hours for me to get the book back from the previous person who was already drawing in it. I definitely consider the wait worth it in this case, with a very dynamic image here; love the way the hair flares out.

Yes, KariPup has drawn in my sketchbooks before, and definitely has a talent for setting up poses.
O, it's a lovely star-cat dancer, she is! <3 KariPup has a wonderful feel for interpreting motion in her drawing work, and I am very fond of both her present work and the gorgeous cat-woman Jenora within, with your artfully lovely bare feet! By the way, I had a question I'd thought about before, inspired to speech by your present work: in some of your drawings as Jenora, you have what looks like nearly skin-sheer fur or a very fine, light coat, hence the gleaming albedo to your pelt in the present work. In others, your golden brown coat is thicker, with distinctive feathering where muscle groups come together or curve. Do you have a preference between which as to how your features are depicted? My question is also pertinent to my plan to draw you as we've spoken of, full body, in the near future.

P.S. BTW, I found on Thursday in my picture archives the pages of Cut Loose, drawn by the Tied Tigress, you guest starred in a cameo role at the spa where Frankie is treated to your gentle hands and expertise! (Donna, on the other hand, receives separately a good and proper spankin'.)

I prefer at least a bit of fluff on there, though I'm generally not too fussy on commissions, in part because I like to see things in the artist's own style to see how they handle it.
And yes, I liked that little cameo; I won an auction for it, and it was fun. That was also where I first ran into
TheTiedTigress, and would later get a commission from her sort of inspired by that. *goes to find image* Ten years ago... gah.

I remember and know that image fondly, a properly-sized and gorgeously unclothed but of fur, flesh and loving company Jenora cat-giantess, enjoying a camping vacation with a smaller friend and providing them a warm resting spot of her own. I knew that picture before I clicked on the link you provided, but it was wonderful to see it- and you- once again pictured therein.
I know cats of both domestic human companionship and larger, wilder-trained or human-accustomed or entirely wild felines have a wide range of fur heaviness, fluffiness, length and the amount covering their bodies. Even specific to tigers alone, the difference between a heavy, massive thick coat on an Amur/Siberian tiger and a light, short coat belonging to a Bengal tiger covers a lot of ground. I think one of my favourite tigers by coat are the endangered Sumatran Tigers, for most of them have a massive, heavy white ruff of fur running down the sides of their cheekbones and halfway along their jawline, like a big white beard.
I have usually envisioned you with a moderately thick, potentially fluffy or feathered in the right moments or parts of your anatomy but mostly smooth coat, not heavy but not 'skin tight' or easily showing your hideflesh beneath; the shine in your fur more because of the makeup and albedo of your golden-brown coat, not because of light glinting off smooth skin or sweat. Also, because it's entirely proper for a star-cat to have sunshine in her fur! <3
I am really looking forward to drawing my picture of you, Jenora Feuer, as I've been planning it and four very specific others of five good and close friends or their characters out for the last month; I'm going to be doing each of them with multiple sittings and in stages thus, not like the single-sitting sketch-and-inks I usually tend to do, and I will neither rush nor strain, but draw smartly and with care and detail.

Thanks!
I think I've mentioned one of my family's cats before, C-Fer (as in C Fer Cat) who was a tortoiseshell, had the ginger and black fairly closely interspersed so she looked mostly black but looked sort of brassy if the light hit her right. She was relatively short-furred, certainly compared to Chloe who was a a long-furred calico-tabby. I have pictures around somewhere. I'd probably think somewhat like C-Fer's, enough to be a definite softness in the lines, but not so thick as to be poof-ball. I'll see if I can find those pictures.

Welcome, you! I've not gotten started on the drawings I had in mind yet- a few weekends have passed since my original planned starting date- but in emphasis, I don't want to rush your drawing or any of the others I've set firmly in mind. I want to do them right, do them smart and practical, and draught them kindly and well, with the depiction of my friends in them and aim for their pleasure as well as mine in seeing the final product.
Not a race, just a good and fostered journey. <3
I am sure you have mentioned your two cattus-gentlewomen to me before; Chloe's name I clearly remember, not so much C-Fer Cat's (hee!) but I distinctly recall you describing the two of them physically to me, and some of their habits and unique behaviours. I would adore seeing your pictures of the both of them, if you're keen to find them and to share them with me!
