idea behind this is that during Scar's reign, Zira saw that Scar is disappointed by lionesses' hunting. so Zira decided to cheer him up by making pride's older cubs useful. she didn't attend hunting wit other lionesses anymore and she took their cubs secretly to another hunt with her. there she taught them how to hunt. She didn't care how much dangerous this could be for cubs in that age. all she cared about was to become Scar's number one queen. that's why Vitani was trained very well in her childhood.
