At best these people are confused. I would reply to Nico this:
Lamb: "Oh, so you love the cult?"
Nick: "Yes!"
Lamb: "Enough that you want to sacrifice yourself?"
Nick: "Yeah!"

Lamb: "Are you a liar or just a fool? If you really love the cult you'd know the cult needs you alive and working. Go now, and don't ever think of sacrifice again".
I think I'm going to draw this scene as a response and continuation of this comic strip.
